Enyimba’s game in opposition to Al-Ittihad in the Confederation Cup has been postponed by CAF above COVID-19 travel limits.
The People’s Elephants verified the development in a statement issued on their site on Saturday.
Owing to COVID-19 travel limitations, the two-time CAF Champions League winners were being unable to fly out from Casablanca airport to Tunisia to honour the match.
The Enyimba gamers were claimed to have been unable to current their COVID-19 vaccination cards to the Moroccan immigration officials.
“The match will not get position tomorrow, the 28th of November 2021, as scheduled and will be postponed,” the statement mentioned.
“The new venue and date of the match will be introduced before long after session with CAF Interclub Committee.
“Kindly be aware that the return leg will be performed as scheduled on the 5th of December in Nigeria.”
The match was initially scheduled to get place on Sunday, November 28 at Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet in Monastir, Tunisia.
