Long wait pays off in fine wine

LYONS, NY —The designs for the to start with-ever Agness Wine Cellars tasting area have been quite considerably in location. 

All it took was the waiting for the OK to open. And the waiting … and waiting … and waiting around … and waiting around. 

The wait — owner Randy Agness experienced hoped to open up Feb. 18, which is National Consume Wine Working day — is above.  

Phew, finally. 

Two weekends in the past, Agness Wine Cellars, which is found at Toganenwood Estate, a nation marriage ceremony and situations venue with farmhouse, lined bridge and barn courting back again to 1846, just north of the Ontario County border on Route 14 in Lyons, marked a comfortable opening. 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, and the tasting space will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The official grand opening is Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m.
